I am writing to thank you and your colleagues at WCPT for making possible and co-hosting the recent Thom Hartmann talk and book signing at our store. This event far exceeded our expectations, thanks in large part to the professionalism and dedication of everyone at WCPT, not to mention the graciousness of Thom himself, who went above and beyond to stay an hour later than expected and sign every last one of his books.
Your help and advice leading up to the event, as well as your station's outstanding advertising campaign, delivered the largest and most enthusiastic audience we've ever had. And our sales figures for the day of the event, the second highest in our store's nearly eight-year history, put the exclamation mark on what was an amazingly successful and exciting event.
We look forward to working with WCPT on similar events in the future, and to a long-term relationship that will benefit both of our organizations. Everyone at Frugal Muse Books had a fantastic time during the event, and they wanted me to pass along their gratitude and best wishes. We're still buzzing around the store, and still getting phone calls and emails thanking us for hosting Thom's signing and for advertising on WCPT.
